A CHICK STORY
In our Unit learning about life cycles, I had many different types of live life cycles taking place around the classroom - the lady bug, the frog, the butterfly, and the ant. But, the most popular life cycle we looked at was that of the chick.
With the support of parents, I was able to purchase a mini classroom egg incubator with an ova scope. The ova scope allowed us to view the development of the chick inside the egg daily. We recorded the progress of each of our chicks using the ova scope and a web cam. After the birth of our six healthy chicks, we created a short video showing the development of a single chick from beginning of the egg cycle to hatching.
We hope you enjoy our CHICK STORY
